SEARCH Network

Over more than 10 years, SEARCH Canada has also developed a vibrant and expanding network of health professionals, stretching across Alberta and beyond, creating a community of learning and practice that crosses geographic, professional, sectoral and disciplinary boundaries in health.

This network continues to be a driving force for developing, implementing and testing innovation in health care, in response to local community needs and in collaboration with partners.

The two key goals of the SEARCH Network are to:

  1. Support and enhance the health of Albertans using information as the basis for decision
  2. Sustain the capacity of those participaing in SEARCH programs to contribute to research and evidence-informed practice over time

The SEARCH Network is also designed to:

  1. Foster cooperation and collaboration among SEARCH program participants
  2. Build a fellowship of SEARCH participants throughout Alberta
  3. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge, skills and experience
  4. Strengthen supportive relationships and formalize the SEARCH network
  5. Enhance knowledge and skills through educational opportunities
  6. Provide and receive updates on the research activities of SEARCH participants
