December 15, 2008  Completed applications and waitlist (if applicable) submitted to SEARCH Canada
January 7, 2009 Memo of Understanding issued to sponsoring organizations for each of their participants
January 2009

Selection committee (if applicable) convened to allocate unused seats

SEARCH Canada confirms allocation of participants

February 2009

IT skills survey sent to each participant

All contracts complete

March 2009 Managers' meeting at SEARCH Canada offices (one day)
April 13 - 14, 2009 Orientation to the SEARCH Classic cohort experience (Edmonton)
May 4 - 8, 2009 SEARCH Classic SVII begins with the first module
