Seed Funding
SEARCH Canada provides seed funding to support activities that further its organizational goals in three categories:
Projects
-
To facilitate completion and reporting of applied research and evaluation projects by participants of SEARCH programs (including Classic local and provincial projects and Custom projects).
Communities of Practice (CoPs)
-
To support ongoing network activity and collaboration within and beyond participants of SEARCH programs (both Classic and Custom). Communities of practice are “groups of people who share a concern, a set of problems, or a passion about a topic, and who deepen their understanding and knowledge of this area by interacting.”
Knowledge Sharing Initiatives
-
To support local, in-person events that profile local applied research and evaluation projects and/or communities of practice, build local capacity for evidence informed practice, and facilitate networking.
